In this eight session course, you will learn the fundamentals of personal finance, as well as the English vocabulary and concepts related to finance. The course covers the following areas:

After completion students will be able to calculate payments based on interest rates, calculate the future value of money based on the saving interest rate. Use that information to make a financial plan, and compare basic investment strategies. This course is designed to be as practical, and useful, as possible with immediate application.

There are no prerequisites and anyone can sign up, it is suggested that you have Microsoft Excel, or Google Sheets, in order to build the projects and participate in the class.

This is a special, eight session course. You choose the time slots that work best. This package includes eight classes. You can work out the best schedule for yourself and the instructor. Typically, students prefer once per week, but multiple classes per week, or even every other week, are options as well. The schedule is made flexible to suit the needs of each individual.
